Villain Sebastian Shaw’s Mid-Century Lair | X-Men: First Class
This scene takes place inside the lair of the film’s main villain, Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon), a hidden space where he conducts a not-so-friendly business meeting.
The filmmakers built this “Bond-esque” set at Pinewood Studios near London, where Bond films had previously been shot. It includes a sunken seating area, a reflective coffee table and a large fireplace all in homage to the early ’60s 007 look.
