Thrift Store Find

The retro lamp (by Victory Light USA in Illinois) in the top photo was purchased at the Salvation Army. Looks like it’s a knockoff of the “6631 Luxus,” table lamp by Bauhaus designer Christian Dell for KAISER idell (bottom photo). The lamp was first introduced in 1936 and became the undisputed top model for the company.

Licensed reproductions are still made by Fritz Hansen in Denmark. The lamps retail for $815. Our thrift store find was $7.50. - Via
