Mid-Century Modern Freak

Atomic. Futurist. Populuxe. Googie. Modernist. Vintage Pop Culture.

1957 Isabel Trust Residence | Architect: W. McAllister | Trousdale Estates, Beverly Hills, CA

Design firm Marmol Radziner restored the original spirit and character of the house, while updating the finishes and layout for entertaining as well as accommodating an extensive art collection.

Gabled ceilings, sloping rooflines and Palos Verdes stone walls defined the original design of the home. Interior rooms were enlarged and reconfigured to open up the spaces and bring in natural light. A cabana addition on the west terrace was removed, opening the master bedroom suite to views of Century City. - Via
